Packwalk brings Canadian ownership to an everyday service: finding someone nearby to walk your dog.
A dog-walking app for iPhone, built in Toronto by Sandeep Saha. Owners can find local walkers, message before booking and follow walks with live GPS.

Walker earningsWalkers set their rates and keep 80% of each walk fee and 100% of tips.
Company givingPackwalk commits its entire 20% platform fee to Toronto animal rescues through company-funded giving.
Customers purchase dog walks. They do not make charitable donations through the app. No funds have been disbursed to rescues yet, and no rescue endorsement or partnership is claimed.
Canadian ownership describes the company. Packwalk uses third-party technology, including Apple distribution and Stripe payments. Independent background checks are not currently offered.
Sandeep and Astor
Astor, a Great Pyrenees, had already been adopted and returned before Sandeep adopted him. That experience helped inspire Packwalk's commitment to supporting Toronto animal rescues.
Sandeep has ataxia, which affects his speech, and runs the company largely in writing. Written interviews are welcome.
